I agree with previous poster that Dave will be disappointed in the teacher, because he uses "negs" and thinks he's a player and is likely a big a-hole. He is fake as hell and his relationship with his sister sounds enmeshed.

It's out of bounds to put them on the spot about kids, it's an outdated mindset to talk about how her daughter needs to be taken care of 100%, and it's undermining to their adulthood to treat them like kids who she is still in charge of. Her jealousy and me-me-me-ness comes through when she talks about how it's a drawback for them to have two nice famlies in that they will compete. I know there's editing here, but it really made me bristle in a Monster-In-Law way. Maybe she is overcome with fear that her husband is ill. He seems good and I hope his health resolves and she can CHILL. In contrast, Daniel's parents seem so kind and appropriate and healthy about the ways they relate to their adult children. I thought Daniel and Taylor handled it all so well. Rooting for them (but guessing they don't make it because I have the internet).
She freaked me out. They will have problems with her.

+1
Narcissistic sociopath and Alex wants to ignore it but he can’t.

I'm a little worried Monica's sister might be right about Joey. Time will tell.
Watching Lauren take David's abuse is triggering, man. I honestly do not understand it. He is so gross. Shades of Colleen and Matt, but much much worse. There have been multiple allusions to their not being physical, so clearly very significant issues. Why is this awfullness being dragged out?
I do think Daniel and Taylor are the only couple who will end up getting married. Too many red flags, or absence of romance, with the other couples.
Probably. But I also think he totally followed then unfollowed her on Insta. He did not deny it. Although that's not great, at all, I guess it's minor compared to the other transgressions coming to light.
Am I the only one who thinks the Insta thing is nbd? I could envision myself being curious and taking a look if mutual friends mentioned a particular name had been cast. Doesn't go with the rules of the show, but pretty human. His love of Christmas is clearly legit and is it so odd a 20something guy loves Taco Bell lol? Was there something I missed that was actually sus?
To me this reads as producer-generated. They have to introduce some drama and suspense with the couples that are clearly the most solid. And I do think they're the most solid.

Dave is not going to man up. He is only confident when he feels he's better than the woman he's with. Lauren is a strong, confident (sexual) woman who has done nothing wrong and refuses to back down from that. He can't handle it so he's going throw excuse after excuse about "I just need to think it through" so he can ultimately not marry her. Except I hope Lauren refuses to marry him FIRST. He doesn't deserve her. He doesn't need to think this through for a week - even someone diagnosed with low IQ could make a decision about this in less time.
Why is she putting up with this nonsense is the real question. She has a "f**k the patriarchy" tatto fhs.
I believe the more episodes they're on, the more they get paid.
