Subject: Help: need a good gastroenterologist for positive cologuard
I really like Dr. Truc Trinh. She has offices in Arlington and Annandale and does colonoscopies at VHC and Woodburn Endoscopy Center. I prefer VHC. There are others in her practice who are good, too.
My husband and I both had Cologard tests sent to him by his insurance. He woood NEVER have gotten a colonoscopy otherwise, but his came back positive. I was due for a colonoscopy anyway so we both got them done.
He had 17 polyps. 17!!! All removed and all gone afterward. No cancer. If he hadn't have gotten them out now, who knows what situation we'd be in in 5 years.
Mine was clean for polyps but my endoscopy was positive for celiac..a total surprise.
I credit Cologard for getting DH to act and for these polyp removals that might have saved his life. I wish for you a similar positive result from a positive result.

My doctor told me tgat cologuard is forpeople who can’t or won’t get a colonoscopy. It is far inferior.
You should change PCPs when you get around to it.
Wishing you the best.
