OK, full disclaimer I have not watched the last episode but episode seven had the president and Sinatra in the same room prior to the disaster.

How did the president find out about Sinatra’s underground build in Colorado? Was she always building that for him?

I binged it. Yeah some of it was unbelievable, I don’t think that takes a thing away from it.

The White House interior and lawn scenes were deeply troubling and felt all too real.

Meh. Found it formulaic and the dialogue was overwrought. Saw the dome thing coming from a mile away. Made it through episode 2, but not in any rush to go back to it.

What’s up with Gabriela? I don’t trust her.

I know him personally. He's a great guy.

Without being intrusive can you tell us anymore PP? I’m definitely a fan. I loved his work on This is Us. His range is pretty amazing to me.

I love Sterling K. Brown and it’s written/created by Dan Fogelman, who did This Is Us. It’s really intriguing and I’m curious where it’s going after the first two episodes. Like This Is Us, it has a big twist at the end of the first episode, so I recommend not reading too much about it before watching.

When will the music stop repeating on my head? Ohhhhhh think twwwwiiiice.

It’s interesting to see the intensity and emotional relationships contrasted with the cold utilitarianism of who was chosen. Marcia really believed her loyalty would be rewarded, at least for her child. But whatever Marcia’s skill set, it’s not important to Paradise , so there’s no chance for little Edward.

I think she may not have been allowed because of her kid’s health issues. His bad health mentioned briefly early on and my thought was that they may not have allowed people with complex medical needs … and obviously she wouldn’t have left her son.

Agree with those saying that this week was a tough one!

Oh I had not thought of that! Good catch.

Yes, great point. But Marcia also didn't bring enough that was unique and important to the table. Insufficient value to make the case. The kind of political strategy and administrative support no longer needed in the new, very differently ordered world. Do we think she's the murderer, out to avenge her son's death? Or is that too obvious?

James Marsden is fabulous in this series. I always thought of him as being a "lite" actor but he is really excellent.
