Communism is the federal government trying to take over everything and run it from ivory towers. It's called a "command economy" and it is what collapsed the Soviet Union and the Iron Curtain states.
Would you like to point out to everyone which entrenched bureaucracy in the last four years tried to run everything with constant edicts from air conditioned offices by highly paid employees who know nothing about what they were trying to control?

Run a moderate white male, or a male of color who is extremely charismatic (e.g., Obama)

- Make it clear that the Democratic Party does not condone illegal immigration in any way, shape or form, particularly violent criminals
- soften the language on the abortion issue (I am pro choice, but grew up Catholic and some of the democrats come off almost as if they are promoting abortion versus acknowledging that oftentimes it is a sad, difficult choice).
I am an independent, left leaning voter FWIW.

They can read Peggy Noonan's article and Michael Bloomberg's articles in today's WSJ. It tells them exactly what to do, particularly Bloomberg. I agree with some of this but not your suggestion that HRC "blackmailed" the the DNC. HRC would have and probably should have been nominated and elected in 2008 if not for the Obama political train. Like Biden, she is part of the longstanding Democratic Party base and is well known and trusted by the mega donors. The DNC created an easy path for her to win the 2016 nomination just as they did for Biden in 2020 because there was a fear of someone emerging as the primary winner that would be a wild card as far as playing nice with the party's big money financial backers is concerned. HRC didn't blackmail anyone and you can't fault her for claiming the 2016 nomination that was to some degree gifted to her.
Otherwise, I do agree that the DNC's shenanigans made the Trump/Biden/Trump debacle possible.

Not sure. But Democrats need to stop debating and acknowledging MAGA. Their cult devotion to Trump is too deep to bother with anymore. They’re gone with no hope.
