Yes! There is a bar in downtown Philly especially for this. It's called Craft Hall - they take reservations and they have a playground and arcade room for kids. It was opened to allow families with small children to watch the game together. It's $20 per person and gets credited to your food and drink bill.

Call some of your friends that live in Philly and ask what they are doing. If they have kids they might be hosting something and you could go their home and get a hotel near them. No, do not do this.

I am normally a live and let live sort of person but I read your post this morning and cannot get it out of my head! Why would you consider this a good idea? To get space for 5 people you'll need to show up to the bar very early. That is tolerable for adults because you start drinking. For a 4 year old? Do you really expect your kids to be happy to sit in a crowded bar for 6 hours? This sounds so miserable!

If you must, find a DC Eagles bar. Then one parent can bail when it goes south. But the best option is to watch the game at home! You have young kids. It's not your time to attend super bowl bar gatherings.

You won't be able to hear the announcing on the screen over the people in the bar. Your kids won't be able to see the screens because they will be too short. The bars will be PACKED requiring you to finagle your way through crowds of people to get to the bathroom. You likely wouldn't have a place to sit unless you get there 6 hours early and day drink before the game. Your 4 year old will get stepped on/knocked over if he tries to walk around. (Will bars even allow under 21? It's illegal most places).

Have a massive party at home, decorate and go crazy.

Then go up for the parade, if there is one.

I just had my annual mamo. in center city (all clear, see you next year!) and my tech was on broad street last night .
I mentioned my "friend" who lives in DC who was thinking about bringing her kids....she grimaced.
BUT came through with a great suggestion.
IF the eagles win, the parade will be much more family friendly and a very nice day time experience. She happens to have already done recon on your behalf so she could take the day off of work herself. It will likely be on the Thursday following the super bowl.
Her exact words "have a nice party at home and come up for the parade if they win."
