Hey folks, just stop. The OP is long gone -- she got a $15 gift card and split from this nonsense.

Same.

And even if his parents don’t buy many desserts, I’m sure this kids gets plenty of junk food. Kids and teens have junk food all around them at school, parties, every social event, even sports practice and events parents bring in junk food. Then there’s all the holidays and occasions. Im sure he eats plenty of sweets and desserts without Crumble. He is not suffering.

+100 he doesn’t need a freaking Crumbl gift card. Yuck! Lol

I’d be weirded out if this was my kid.

This, I'd be annoyed to have to take my kid to somewhere we wouldn't normally go.

IRL, Crumbl is very popular amongst teens and many adults. I can’t believe this thread is still going on. I literally don’t don’t anyone IRL who doesn’t love it.

You think it’s normal to like crumbl cookies because it’s a fad and everyone else does? Who is the weird one? Levain bakery is far superior to crumbl, as are the cookies at Bakeshop. Crumbl is cake like and slathered in icing.

Levain cookies are burnt in the bottom consistently and awful. Bakeshop is consistently amazing!

But teens in general love it and also tend to jump on fads. The OP wasn’t speaking about your average 40 year old.

They love it because it’s in marketed to them on social media platforms and for those teams that aren’t on those platforms they like it because the friends do. It’s not because crumble is culinarily superior.

OP never said it was superior. They simply said their kid’s friend likes it. Lots of kids like it just like lots of kids like Starbucks, Chipotle, and many other chains that many older people avoid. So many uptight people forgetting what it’s like to be a kid these days. OP also mentioned it’s not a regular thing so it’s not like the kid eats Crumbl regularly.

I’m not talking to OP. Follow the conversation – I’m talking to the crumbl apologist.
