I was like "girl, you're allergic!" She got an allergy test and sure enough, she's allergic to bananas and also related foods like avocado and melon. She lived her whole life thinking those foods just caused a burning mouth after eating.

I was recently found to have gluten sensitivity, and I really dislike GF breads… so I now make my “sandwiches” using crackers or those puffed rice/buckwheat thingies. Still can’t live without something baked with a slice of cheese on it.
