She fell down and had reconstructive surgery.
She "fell down" and had "reconstructive surgery".

Respect the office. Singing for the president is a respectful and respectable thing to do.
No. Effing. Way.
Having a stance and sticking to it, refusing to honor a pu$$y grabbing rapist, is more respectful.
Np. Sounds like you need a Prozac.
Because I believe in standing up for what is right?

OP. I am too. I wasn’t making a political comment with this post. It was simply noteworthy that in this giant moment, immediately following Trump’s rousing speech, she walked out, stood ready to perform after she and the military band were announced, and then…nothing. Silence. Her face looking expectant, then tense as the beginning of the backing track played for one second, then cut out, and then…she looked resolved. Sort of. She nervously told the crowd, “You know the words, help me out here.” And they did - the whole room, including President Biden, joined her.
I thought it was pretty remarkable.
PP you replied to. I'm mostly aware of classical music performances. There's a video of a pianist who suddenly starts the wrong accompaniment, while the solo violinist who has just walked on stage has a couple of seconds of incredible tension to figure out which music the pianist is playing, *and then seamlessly launches into the concerto that the pianist mistakenly started*, instead of the concerto that they were supposed to play!!! Professional soloists play by memory. The average concerto has thousands of notes. He just dug up that concerto from his repertoire and played it, nearly perfectly, with only a few bars to jog his memory, in a really stressful situation. AWESOME MOMENT on the part of violinist.

Recordings of the military bands are used all the time for tv productions.

I really hope it was "Before He Cheats" or "Jesus Take The Wheel".
lol. I was hoping this was going to say she decided to wash her hair. Alas, not playing her music for next 4 years.
I love this idea! Now every time you hear one of her songs you’ll think about this day.

Do you mean a capella, which means without instruments/“in the style of the chapel”? Or do you mean singing like an alpaca? What does “alcapella” mean? “In the style of Al Capone”?
Why do you have to be such a b-tch PP. We all knew what the previous poster meant.
But perhaps you feel like the better person now? More educated? You come across as insufferable and mean-spirited only. Please do better next time. Or try at least.
You’re calling someone the b-word and then you are telling them to “do better”? Hypocrite.
