For real. She wasn’t just quietly pretending to be from Spain, she was actively marketing herself, selling stuff etc. The WTFery of this girl from Connecticut pretending to be Spanish, making it her whole personality and business plan, and somehow having relatively minimal fallout on discovery is wild and definitely appropriate gossip fodder. Get out the 🍿
I do feel sorry for the kids who were raised in this deception and wonder how it will affect them long term.
Not only did she pretend to be from Spain, but, when she was called out as being non-Spanish, she pretended that spending a lot of time vacationing at her parents' place in Spain during summers was the same as being Spanish. The deliberate ignorance about the difference between Spanish vacations and actual Spanish ethnicity was ridiculous.
Idk how she wasn't embarrassed enough to stop asap

I'm obsessed with her because her behavior is bizarre, indicative of the zeitgeist and she wants to be in the public eye promting herself so you see her in People, the Daily Mail, etc.
It's a fascinating story of deception of others and self-deception. She is a lot like other influencers who get attention for going too far (e.g., Mama and Tata). She's a social media/celebrity cautionary tale of the 2020s. Her particular brrw of fame could only exist today. I predict there will be a six-parr doc about her in a few years like there have been about other strange people of this era who caught attention for all the wrong reasons.

I think calling it ignorance is extremely chargeable of you! I would call it doubling down 😂

I have seen this question come up on other threads. You could post this on any thread or you could just not check these threads. Why are you obsessed with asking people why they chose to discuss these people? Everyone mentioned on this board has chosen to make their money through fame. That means people will discuss you. If someone here posted about their neighbor Betty Jones from Maple Street who has a regular job and they use her name, I think we would all get it shut down because Betty is a private citizen. Hilaria desperately wants to make more money through celebrity.
It’s my first time posting this question.
Now I have another question: why does it bother you when Hilaria Baldwin wants desperately make more money through celebrity? Don’t you have other things to worry about?
I hope you have a good night sleep.

DP. Because it’s hilarious. Are you really that humorless and miserable?
No, you're obsessed and it's creepy. Hilaria is not even a famous person, she's just the irrelevant wife of a sort of washed up A-list actor. Find a hobby.
