I love the Yacht Club, which is convenient to Epcot. Get a room with a full sized balcony.

Because you are obviously the most fun person of all!![]()

+1 just went on a trip to all of the parks with boys these ages, and Hollywood Studios was the clear favorite.
Anonymous wrote:Disney purposely spreads out their best rides in an effort to make you hit all the parks. People will have varying opinions of the parks depending of preferences, and sometimes just the mood the day their visited (too hot, longer lines).
My kids were 9 and 7 when we went. They don't like Star Wars. Hollywood Studios was their least favorite (they still liked those rides, they also liked Tower of Terror, Muppets but that's closing, and the Indiana Jones show).
Epcot was their fave (Guardians, Moana, Ratatouille). My husband got a beer at the various countries. The kids didn't care much for the "cultural" part of Epcot. But Guardians and Ratatouille were their top 3 rides from all of the parks.
Animal Kingdom was fun for a few hours - we did the best rides in the AM and then napped and went back to Epcot in the PM.
Magic Kingdom is a must even if it didn't have our favorite rides.
So I would rank them for us: HS > AK > MK > EP

Anonymous wrote:We are visiting family and going to go to Disneyworld for 1 night and visit two parks. Which one would you stay at? Doing Epcot and Disneyworld. Kids are 7 and 9. We loved Animal Kingdom but we already went a few years ago so I was considering something new. Is Epcot boring for these ages (boys)? They aren’t huge Disney kids and have only seen a few of the movies.. They loved Legoland when we went which was fine but lacked the magic of Disney parks. They have learned a lot about the different cultures in school so I wandered if visiting the countries would be interesting. That was my favorite part as a young child so I may be biased, lol! It also sparked a huge desire to travel internationally and I did for about 10 years and lived abroad prekids with my husband but I remember my husband and I went prekids and felt like it was lacking a bit compared to the other parks especially with fun rides. I like Epcot due to the nostalgia and heard they made some improvements over the years. Has anyone been recently?
So
1. Is Epcot boring for those ages? Active fun loving kids, interested in things but not overly so. There needs to be some fun factor to grab their attention.
2. Which hotel do you love for just one night? Deluxe please!
