1) I set the breakfast table the night before
2) Sometimes I cut up fruit that I'm going to serve for breakfast the night before
Little things like this make me realize that other people are leading very different lives from me...

He forgot last night and it messed up my whole morning. On the rare morning I get up and we've run the dishwasher AND hand washed all the dishes AND there are no dishes drying by the sink - wow, fantastic

Not sure why this is post worthy. It's all normal and everybody dies this, no?
I thought this was going to be more like "getting 3 consecutive green traffic lights commuting"...or...."kids woke up in a good mood".
Pee-setting the coffee maker and setting out the breakfast non perishables isn't ground umique.
Agree. I came here ready to tell about a certain dog that I only see some mornings and how happy it makes me to see him (he’s a fat corgi named after a very tall NBA star) and how there’s always one woman at the crosswalk if we are en route to school on time and DD gets excited if she sees “crosswalk lady” because that means we’re on track.
Wrong thread, I’ll see myself out!
This thread sounds better to be honest.
I love it when I beat the school buses at drop off and don't have to wait for them. WINNER.
When it's dress down day and my newly fashion conscious DD shows up with an Outfit.
I know there's a Bethesda walking man but where we live we have a walking girl and we love spotting her. A fat corgi would be even better.

same. I am such a AM person and not PM person that I prefer to do dishes before I leave for work. AS much as it bums out others to wake to a kitchen sink with dirty dishes, it bums me out more to have to stay up to do them.

OP isn’t an overachiever… this is just what people did before generations became more focused on work and scrolling TikTok instead of “adulting.”
