So far the two celebs that I have seen post some of the most sensitive but heartbreaking posts are Paris Hilton (as others have mentioned) and also Spencer Pratt.

Where are you getting your news? The front pages of the Post, the NYT, NPR, LA Times, CNN all have tons of stories about the fire and everyday people?

Joe Rogan said that he decided to leave Los Angeles after he has to evacuate for wildfires three different times. A firefighter told him that, if a perfect set of wind conditions hit, a fire could start and burn all the way to the ocean. The clip of Joe telling the story went viral this week.

People are not going to rebuild $10 million plus properties knowing that a fire could sweep through next year and burn the whole thing down again. In addition there has not been a good explanation for why the Santa Ynez reservoir was dry. It seems like the public works folks were not doing their job. The risk of owning property there is not worth it. I think we will see a massive relocation of celebrities to other places like Vegas and San Francisco.

This is weird but I’ve seen Paris in multiple situations in real life and she is not the “Simple Life” character she plays … she’s actually articulate and seems smart, sweet and thoughtful.

I lost items in a fire once. Didn't destroy my home but required 9 months of living elsewhere and smoke remediation and some things were lost. No ill will toward her, it is horribly stressful even if you have money to deal with it.

Actually, we already covered who started the Go Fund Me, Hilary Duff's husband. And, to be clear, I wasn't actually criticizing, but was one of the few people defending the effort.
