They probably will but it will be stupid. FCC is opening on time. ACPS is 2 hour delay. DC was open today. We’re much more comparable to these jurisdictions than Fairfax and Loudoun. Just because the boonies are icy doesn’t mean our kids shouldn’t be able to make it to school. I was out several times today and it was totally fine. Some snow plowed to the side of the streets, but otherwise ok.

If you’ve gotten 3 days off to care for your kids while school is closed, surely you can figure out Thursday (and maybe Friday) for childcare if needed. This isn’t exactly a surprise storm at this point.
