What's to learn? Everyone knows how to shovel snow and $450 buys a decent snow blower that just as easy to operate. If the HHI people are willing to pay, then I agree with you. Or you could learn some very basic home maintenance skills and diy.
I see nothing ethically wrong with skilled trades people upcharging wealthy people who disdain tradesmen, but are too important to learn the skills themselves.
