I either prefer to stay home and hunker down with the family enjoying good food and watching movies OR travel so we can be together as a family in a fun vacation destination.

Fwiw, resorts and some communities have special events like live music and fireworks. But just being in the Caribbean or a European city is always fun.

I have never liked New Year’s Eve. But this year, I shot a wedding and it was actually way more fun than any other NYE that I left the house.

It tends to be over-rated as a holiday for most.
