Sleeping nude is for your own home. Please bring pjs as a guest in my house and then you won’t mind the unwashed quilt and I won’t have to worry about your naked body leaving fluids to clean. Win-win!!

I am a clean freak and the "dance" in our foyer when taking on and off shoes (as to not dirty the "inside clean" areas of the home) is ridiculous.

In regard to blankets and throw pillows etc. - in my case mattress/pillow protectors + duvet covers make me most at peace. Which of the "inner" bedding items get cleaned when depends on the length of stay, body odor/perfume level and so on.

We don't let guests bring their dogs as we don't have pets ourselves. I would get a panic attack trying to figure out how to keep my home clean enough with a dog around (I would be like a dog chasing its own tail around the home trying to clean after the dog.)

No, no they don't.

This is why I have duvets vs quilts. I have white sheets so I can bleach everything! (I don’t bleach every wash, but I like knowing I can)

I put blanket and duvet in dryer on high heat with dryer sheets after guests for a short stay. For a week or more, I wash everything.

Just adding a no to the mix. I think there are lots of people who would only wash sheets and pillowcases.

when I stay at airbnbs, I try to get there early enough to wash all the bedding because some gross hosts dont wash all the bedding

I agree though, nobody should be sleeping naked while a guest in someone’s home.

Yes I wash everything. I know my in laws don’t and pull up the sheets accordingly so my face doesn’t touch the blanket

+1 I was shocked to find this out from my MIL who was a housekeeper at a fancy hotel. Personally, I wash everything after a guest visits.

I haven't seen a blanket in a hotel room in years. They all have duvet covers now that I definitely see them take off and the new ones have iron lines in them.
