There were 8 seniors and 7 5th years on the roster Freshmen year. Only 2 “true” Freshmen.
Oh—just was reading the NCAA is thinking of switching from 4 years of eligibility to 5 years. This will make it even harder …
+1. Soccerwire lists only 3 commits for 2026 boys, while toms for the girls. And, yes, I know it’s not fully accurate and not everyone reports—but it’s representative of the different timelines.
We had our kids continue to develop and choose schools on academics first. We are seeing much later recruiting and kids getting on teams at much older ages. This informed how we are dealing with our current junior—not wasting $ and resources now—but looking at a much longer timeline. Older one sat out freshmen year of college too and got on team 2nd year. D1. He was known to the coaches, but developed physically later and also had injury.
