Who is that? I think someone like Brooke Pinto is more likely. Other politicians with citywide name recognition are not likely to primary EHN and thus annoy Dem party leadership in the process. Someone like Pinto could have a real shot in a primary. Pretty decent name recognition if you follow DC politics, but doesn’t seem as invested in the Dem party apparatus (I could be wrong on this; I don’t actually know her and I’m not a constituent).

Not to discount her efforts over the years, but this position has no power. And real congresss people don’t give an f about other districts or states.

Valuable space. She can introduce legislation, she can lobby Congress. I’m so sick of people expecting zero from legislators. We’re so starved for anything we think Bookers speech was “doing something.”
99% of the Dem party has failure of imagination. Look at what MTG was able to accomplish when she had no power.
Eleanor’s staff, if you are reading this, you should be ashamed of yourselves. The elders could have mentored youth, passed along power and left with integrity. Now many will be primaried and leave by the back door.
Passed along the power? This isn't a hereditary position.

Is she still doing public events? I havent seen or heard from her in a long time
To be fair, her staff was very helpful to me last year when I had a passport problem.

When I met with her last year, she had no idea what was going on. It was embarrassing.
