Yes, we call them supertasters.

Many people have a genetic variant that makes them more sensitive to bitter flavors. These people are less likely to like dark chocolate.

The only people who like sweeter chocolate are young children and people who have destroyed their taste buds with daily overloads of sugar in their diet.

Um no. Amazing how your arrogance comes through even in a thread about chocolate. You must be a hoot irl.

Figure me out, DCUM!

You probably choose good milk chocolate as I think black coffee drinkers enjoy coffee that's not blunted from true coffee flavor.
There is some horrible milk chocolate out there that shouldn't be called chocolate at all, maybe "sugar bar"
I love dark chocolate and some is better than most milk chocolate while others are not good at all. There are tons of random flavors (something rancid, something moldy, something artificial) in some of the bars out there. I don't judge what style of chocolate people like but I hope they are getting the better versions of it.

I recently learned about A2 milk. It has to do with the casein type, not the lactulose. There are two types of casein, A1 and A2. Most commercial milk has both, but for some people milk intolerance is actually intolerance to the A1 protein. There are also people who don't tolerate A2 and are better off drinking A1-A2. There are some companies that make chocolate bars using just A2.

(me, I have no problem with milk, and drinking vegan milk is like decaf coffee to me--just doesn't do it for me)

I don't have a lactose or milk intolerance; sadly, I have a diary allergy. Thank you for the info, might help my DH and DS who have lactose intolerance.

?? What does this comment have to do with chocolate?

Some of regulars know. We have a "European" here who is a total snob, and she keeps posting about how she could never eat steak, much prefers Indonesian food she are in Europe! That is her go to for a fancy meal. On top of that, she, and you could be of the same ilk, keeps reigning her "I am posh and better than anyone" over all here.

You should take note and stop your insane posts if you are like her. If you posted some snobbish nonsense, you should expect to be called out for it.

I love dark chocolate. Somewhere 75-90% is my favorite.

I don’t particularly like milk chockafe. Too sweet and the primary flavor is just SUGAR to me.

Kale is disgusting, read up on super tasters, people should not like bitter taste.
