I have to take ds tomorrow for an 8:30am flight. I just told him we’re leaving at five o’dark for a 20 minute drive. 😂
??? why don't you drop him off at the metro?
Because metro sucks.
It does not suck worse than being stuck in traffic and missing your flight.

We left my house in ARL at 6:30 am today, arrived at the Terminal at 7am. There was a lot of traffic but they made their flight and I’m grateful we have an airport 15ish mins from my house in regular times and 30 mins in the “end times” of holiday travel.

Pleasant and fast are definitely not how I would describe Metro. Ever

Exactly. We checked the traffic (almost an hour from Alexandria) before leaving the house and decided on metro. It took next to no time and was empty.
