Virginia tech also has tiered pricing for dorms.
Thanks. I kind of meant rank the facilities of five schools my kids is applying to:
WM
VT
jMU
GMU
VCU
WM should be at the bottom of that list. Disgusting dorms. My daughter transferred out last year (for reasons unrelated to housing), but those dorms were grotesque.
which ones were bad?

Which dorm was it? W&M is tearing down a lot of old dorms and building new ones. There have been substantial improvements in campus housing in recent years.
They're renovating or replacing 80% of housing, I believe.

Will these new dorms be for Freshman and will they be done by fall 2026?

How common is this or does this happen to only a small subset of students?

But then you have the rich kids' dorm and the financial aid kid dorm.

Or you could get a Soviet 8x9 foot box with black mold, no natural light and ceilings that close in on you. And laundry is across the quad (at the TikTok building)
All for the same price! In a “random” lottery process
Random my nut sack. You think Paltrow's kid or Cuban's kid got placed in the Soviet building?
