What maturity and discrimination are you talking about for a kid who is 14 like OP and has completely accepting parents?


Peers, friends, all their teachers, the recent election, on social media, relatives in Red states, etc.

What maturity and discrimination are you talking about for a kid who is 14 like OP and has completely accepting parents?

PP here and I am not sure why you gave that response. Sleeping over (particularly in a parent's house) gives a level of legitimacy/recognition and seriousness that isn't appropriate for a teenage relationship. Again, that holds true regardless of whether it is a girl or a boy.

I am liberal as all get out but I'm not giving my 15 year old a pass to have sex at my house because I'm so progressive and understanding of the hardships they've faced as a LGBTQ kid.

Well… they can date them if they want to have 0 privileges like having a car, or car insurance or gas money.

They can f*ck all they want if they have their own apartment and can provide for themselves.

Otherwise, *shrug* be like ever6 other kid and **attempt** to sneak around. I will catch you, and you’ll get in major trouble. But you do you, my kids know from Witnessing a sibling that this is how it is.


Why? What if the sneaking around makes them less likely to use protection? Truly curious why you wouldn’t want them having sex at the other partners house. (I understand the not under my roof thing).

See many recent posts. There are tons of kids who aren't dating at all in high school. And by dating I mean any romantic behavior with the opposite sex (hook-ups, etc.)
