This isn't to say the girls from these clubs can't/won't get recruited. They absolutely can, but the path is very different.
D1 coaches don't watch lower bracket games as much and when they do, they have to temper what they see due to the level of competition.
I don't mean to be a downer here, but every family will have a different path to fit their fit. The biggest mistakes I've seen families make is having a Cap Orange girl try to do the same thing as a Cap Blue / M&D girl.
For the 8 Cap Orange girls who got D1 offers, ask them how they impressed their future coach. I bet you it wasn't just looking strong at a club tourney.

Cap Orange and Pride would play a competitive game on the field but the difference in recruiting results is dramatic. The players are similar. The program and the directors helping them is the difference

Can someone explain the bolded? Is there a feeling that D1 spots will become available with people decommitting? I would have thought the opposite with roster caps. What is the theory here?

Another ignorant comment from an obviously bitter Capital hater. When all is said and done, your so called “bottom half” of the Capital Orange roster will do what it’s consistently done for years: commit to some of the best schools in the country. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
Agreed. Many will go on to play at high academic D3 schools while others will choose to play club at great schools. Big mistake to think that the uncommitted girls are not receiving offers.
The Cap Orange uncommitted girls are receiving offers.

Much different talent level on 26 Orange than 28 Orange
