Other schools have just as much suicide but they don’t get press because they are done in less public, less dramatic ways like with pills. Not to be crass, but some of those other suicides would probably have happened off of a bridge if they had them at those schools.

A lot of schools have Greek life. It’s not that easy to avoid.

Yep. We are extremely anti Trump but this is still what we told our teens (and believe ourselves for the most part.) The court is the worst part. An entire generation of conservative judges. Sigh. But living in NY it shouldn’t be an issue.

+1 Parents should help set reasonable expectations and reactions.

When he won in 2016, parents were freaking out and taking their kids down with them. Our oldest was 8 at the time and her friends were anxious wrecks. One parent even told her 8 year old adopted kid that she would do her best to protect her from the bad people who want to rip her away from her family.

Trans is a mental health issue. It's sad that this person didn't get help. There's a lot going on if the person killed themselves over election results.

Transgenderism isn’t a mental health issue. Body dysphoria is.
