In my country we don't have those gated senior communities where you toss people so you don't have to see them in daily life.

I dunno. There's 70 and there's 70. Aging can look so different on people. There are 80 years olds taking classes, with me, at my gym, who look fantastic and are living life. And there are 80 year olds at the senior center who have been retired for decades and have withdrawn from the world.
