Trump , a celebrity who has cameos in several Hollywood movies, is the king of fake news.
But he doesn't lecture voters the way MSNBC, the Obamas, HRC, and The View do (just some examples). And I voted for Harris and admire the Obamas.

Agree. The majority of the country is moderate and want pragmatic common-sense solutions to the pocketbook issues they care about. They were willing to go farther right to get the latter but were not willing to go farther left.

I doubt Michelle would have won. She only talks about race and how everyone else is so bad that is not black or democrat. You don't win elections like that.

I am a democrat woman and a fed who has been crying all morning and feel like this will irrevocably damage some of my familial relationships but truly this is as close to a mandate as one gets. The country wants him. They will have to live with him. Happy to be in a blue bubble. Deeply worried about my job. Thinking the D's need to find a way to make people hear that their message is not all about DEIA crap and more about making life better for the average american.

I absolutely think Vance helped steer independents to Trump.
I don’t. I think picking Vance was net neutral.
Were you one of the ones thinking Kamala would win too?

I'm deeply ashamed of my country today.
Keep calling other Americans “evil” and talking about how ashamed you are of their right to vote.
That’s been a winning strategy! /s
This is literally is what Trump and his supporters do, so it apparently is a winning strategy.

Shapiro would have campaigned better but the Dems miscalculated what would resonate or alienate by assuming more voters would hate the popular governor from a swing state because he’s Jewish.
Next time let’s pick dynamic candidates from swing states.
