My nephew is voting Trump. None of us can understand it, including his parents, with whom I canvassed for Harris. He says the same stupid MAGA points that make no sense and actually apply to Trump (e.g. accusing Kamala of not having plans or stealing elections). He’s early 20s and he definitely didn’t learn this at home.

My nephew (22) has always been apolitical but seemed tolean right. He told my sister he was voting for Trump. She asked him why and to show her the research that led him to this. He showed her a bunch of tiktoks. :/ His algorithm was insane. She talked through every single one of them and countered them, with evidence. By the end of their conversation, he was ready to vote for Harris and felt like he had been conned.

He’s not an “underachiever”, by the way. He’s an engineer.
