I am also sensitive to this- there is a group of moms in my daughters grade who do lots of enviable activities together and post lots of pictures and stories. However, I was recently included on one of these outings and it was a lot of forcing the kids to pose for pictures and staged "candid" photos of the moms. It was honestly super weird...I hang out with my close friends and we rarely snap a photo...we are too busy enjoying each others company! You do you, OP. Overposting on social media is a sign of discontentment.

I also know this group - and they are still posting on social media like it’s 10 years ago. It’s too much. I muted them.

NP wow you are annoying. I log into ig maybe once a day while I'm in line or something and yes I would notice if my feed was absolutely filled with the same person posting pictures of playdates. Do you feel better that you said this? Honestly you just sound weird.

I have a new friend who posts more than all my friends combined. She is on vacation now and has probably posted 50 times in a week documenting her clothes, food, drinks. I like her so I don’t care but if I didn’t like her, I would probably be annoyed. She often posts pictures of her family eating out, her kids playing with other kids, doing everyday stuff. She jokes that she thinks she is an influencer but she doesn’t get paid.

It probably bothers you because they are close by and it feels like you and your child are not being included.

I don’t have a ton of social media friends but the ones I have are my actual adult friends. I don’t mind seeing my out of town friends’ baby and toddler photos or my friend’s daughter’s tennis matches. If you like the person but they are not part of your everyday life, it doesn’t bother me at all. I scroll by some boring stuff but it doesn’t trigger me when I see a toddler at the playground with other toddlers and moms. I used to do that all the time although I never posted that online.

I do have a friend from a different state who posts a ton - soccer games, basketball games, picnics, girls nights, dates out with her husband, hikes, trips, etc. I like her and she lives in California so I don’t mind. I like a few and ignore the rest.

A couple moms I’m friends with on fb posted a lot like this, maybe not every day but enough that it was yanking at my fomo insecurities and so I just hid their content from my feed. You can’t get upset about what you don’t know about.
