I guess I know of a few couples where the guy is quite good looking and the wife is plump and sort of frumpy but you can always see in the face that she was lovely in the past. That's not the same as the more frequent situation of beautiful wife and gross husband.

There’s a couple like this in our universe. He’s very handsome and successful and she’s successful in her career but not a looker at all. Maybe 10 years ago she was ok but in her mid 40s now, no way. And she is mean as all get out. They hate each other and are both planning their exit strategies. Idk why couples like this stay together for as long as they do. Must be the Porsche and nice zip code. He’ll do much better than her once divorced. He’s at least nice.

My father was super good-looking in college. He was a D1 swimmer at Pitt, and worked part-time as a male model because his parents were very poor. My very average looking trust fund mother, her words not mine, met my father at a party, and she was all over him, LOL. Life turned out great for both my father and mother because she got a good-looking husband and my dad got a great job after graduation because my grandfather was a CEO at the time. Work out great for both of them, and I am so thankful for that.

Dcum makes me realize I live on a different planet than many of you. Is this what you’re all thinking at the pumpkin patch? Is it not enough to just get through the darn thing without any major tantrums? Honestly I couldn’t tell you if the other parents are evenly attractive.
