Agree and I'll add that the worst is yelling at refs. It's so incredibly obnoxious and has made it difficult to get refs for youth games. Come on, people. If you are a parent who yells at refs (and no, I don't care how bad the call was), please know that you are being judged as a jerk and a loser.

And to the free country, who cares posters, I care about the pathetic example Northern Virginia adults are setting for my kids.



My kid regularly comments about how annoying some opponent's parents are. She almost never finds any opponent players to be so annoying. I do feel like I'm seeing an uptick in referees addressing the parents and telling them to zip it if they are stupidly questioning calls. Less of them are just ignoring bad behavior.
