When i was a consultant and single I traveled all week and it was miserable in terms of trying to have a relationship. A guy in my firm was in the same boat and we'd hook up every two weeks or so for a day of fun and plenty of sex. It was great and it lasted for about two years until I took a regular job, met a great guy and started to have a real life. He attended our wedding and he's still a friend.

I had one who lived in Chicago who came to DC for business. He'd stay with me for several days and we would go to dinner, museums,concerts, etc, and have tons of sex. We would talk on the phone regularly in between trips about mutual interests and hobbies. It was pretty perfect.
That sounds like a long distance relationship - what was the difference with FWB label? You were both dating others ?

there are no rules. hopefully women who are 40+ feel entitled to the kind of sex they want - if it’s a ONS or FWB or a lightly romantic companionship with no heavy involvement. just make sure you’re enjoying yourself and safe! no bad s*x is the only rule.

If he's offering his goods this freely, be assured, he's already giving them away plenty of other places too, so it's on you to be the adult and protect yourself. Bumble. I have met nice men and I have also met jerks. You have to make sure they are not married. Many are. Younger men have no issue with no strings sex with no expiration date. I have one I have been seeing almost two years. Much younger.
I have the opposite problem. I am divorced 48 been seeing a 34 years old for almost a year and now she wants something more serious. This is the second time it's happening to me. My younger self would def be down having just sex with a much older woman. But it seems that for us men we don't have have the same luck with younger women because eventually they want something more serious.
