2010 they are imploding, that age group was good
Just a forced change on coaching. The team has only lost one game this season. The are ahead of DC United. Not sure why you say they are imploding? That is not true at all, the new coach is very good as well.
See! Winning is the focus of SYC. Don’t expect any development, just lots of social media posturing. If your player is just an ok player and want to ride the coattails of a winning MLSNext team, SYC is for you. If you have a long term goal for your player to play in college or more and actually get playing time, do not go to SYC.
How does this post make sense at all? You must still be drunk after the elections.
It’s true, very few SYC players get keep up with the competition once everyone catches up with speed and size.
Wtf? Not true. My kid played SYC mlsnext u18/19 and is playing d1 this year. We have a u17 kid. We have been at many clubs. The kids here all have really good individual skill and first touch. It’s what we noticed coming from some other “name clubs”. They know they can pass and put a ball to someone else on the team and they won’t lose it , they will be on the right place, make the run, etc. The kids are great 1v1 too.

What are the best clubs if your son wants to go pro? We have a talented but overlooked player who needs a break. He needs to find That Coach who sees him as That Player. He has been passed over multiple times by players that were clearly less talented than him and now his confidence is in the toilet. His team does not have an ECNL or MLS next track looking in Montgomery County Maryland

Go to SYC, which will go against traffic. If not, another alternative is Arlington, but they are ECNL. Avoid Alexandria and Aquiles; this is well known.
No one goes to SYC to get developed. That too is well known. 100 percent focused on winning. Kickball all the way with players who can’t ever keep the ball. Totally ok if that plays to your players strength and if they are a starter.
You see SYC kids do so much technical training at club neutral trainings yet they don’t ever use them in games.

Oh yes, avoid these two!!!!
Why not Alexandria? They looks pretty good. There’s no subs on Alexandria like the one Achilles? Thx
What do you mean there are no subs on Alexandria? All MLSNext teams have subs.
Meant to say no subject in the forum on Alexandria

That's a general statement. 2010 seemed to have kept up with DC United u15 team pretty well the last time they met. The matches are always close when these two age groups play against each other.

That's incorrect. They actually practice a lot of soccer possession drills, passing accuracy, and many other technical aspects. The practices are much better run than in some other places, where the same things are repeated non-stop with no purpose. It's also well known that further development usually requires individual training outside of the club.
