I agree with the PP who said that many of them grew up having older parents and they don’t want that for their kids.

I remember a lot of starter marriages when I was that age. So lots of people got married in their 20’s. A lot of those couples got divorced early, many without children.

They’re gorgeous young adults and extremely wealthy. The world is their oyster. That will also make it hard to stay together, because they don’t really need to. If MBB keeps acting, she may have an unpredictable lifestyle and schedule. Not sure what her husband does. Famous women often have husbands who struggle with their fame and living in their shadow. Maybe the younger generation is different. It would be great if it worked out for them. But I won’t be advising my kids to get married that young.

Nah, the rich kids always got married young in their 20s. They already had a career mapped out for them and financial safety net in case the marriage floundered.

I am Gen x. We are 46-60 ish.

1. Marrying young does not equal kids young. They could wait a decade for kids. They could not want children or they could struggle for a decade with infertility.

2. You could die and never know your grandkids

Married at 22, had kid at 30. After getting married, I went to grad school. Still married 24 years later. It is possible to have a career, go to grad school, etc. after getting married.
