NP. Everyone gets stressed and exhausted sometimes and dayung people are doing it wrong is condescending. I'm currently exhausted because my kid's been struggling to sleep because he has a cold and he was up multiple times last night.

My retired parents are living their best lives. They sure as hell don’t miss the days of non stop sports, being stressed about kids!
It is just conversation. Some people do miss the younger stage others not so much. Why can't you shrug it off?
Why can't they STFU?
Being brightsided when you're feeling stretched to the limit makes people feel worse.
Is it OK to tell someone who does this that they'll miss being able to control what comes out of their mouths, so they should take advantage of it now?

I don't respond to everything like it's an emergency and I don't validate every feeling. I also tell my kids struggle is required and discomfort is a part of life.
When you parent the way I do it's far more tolerable and no I do not miss the early years and I'd never want to go bad.
Weird flex for a person who spends her spare time reading a mommy board.
