Certifiable.
This is most likely from a RWNJ troll. C'mon.
DP. Every post in this thread is pretty much restating what that PP said. Please just own it - LWNJs are absolutely certifiable, as the PP said.

Anonymous wrote:DH has always been a Republican. I was a Dem and switched to R in 2000. Both voting Trump again this year. When I was a D we had a few squabbles during election seasons but nothing serious.
DHās side of the extended family is very vocally R- some can be very obnoxious and it has always been annoying. But everyone tolerates each other. I suspect some of the married-ins may be D but they keep quiet. My side is the extended family is very mixed and everyone behaves & gets along at family gatherings.
Our friends are very mixed and politics has not been an issue.
We have 3 teens who are not yet of voting age. Will support the family relationships over any political views, whatever they choose.
Some of you guys are crazy. Family is more important than politics. I do hide some people on social media but aside from that: family first.

disillusioned with the party for a host of reasons. Iām voting for Trump, and while DH is slightly leaning Harris, Iāve been wearing him down from where he was, which was strongly pro-Dem until recently.
It helps that DH is less political than I am, so he doesnāt feel as strongly on the issues. I couldnāt get along with someone on the opposite end of the spectrum who lives and breathes politics the way I do.
Interesting that you do not care that Trump cares for himself. Everyone else can F themselves I hope your dh has a backbone and votes his convictions

Fascinating. I hope you donāt get deported. Vance made it clear last night he doesnāt care if youāre legal.
So he plans to get his in-laws out too? Yep, he only married for political benefit.

I donāt believe a word of this post. This is a troll.
PP here. People like you are one reason Iām done with Dems. The unmitigated gall of some of you to believe that no one who you consider your ābaseā could possibly disagree with you makes me want to slap someone.

Iām with pp. I think that post is fiction ā but not because I donāt think it could possibly be true. Something about the way itās written is trying too hard.
PP here. You can remain in denial. Makes no difference.
Itās prudent not believe everything you read on the internet, especially anonymous posts.

I'm the moderate RINO. I think this type of attitude is just as destructive as the MAGA/Freedom Caucus attitude. There are plenty of caring and ethical people that are Republican. Just not the MAGA or Freedom Caucus ones. I think that John McCain, Colin Powell, Ann Richards, Ronald Regan, and many more were and are caring and ethical people. Most of the caring and ethical republicans have been chased out of the party.
There are also quite a few registered Democrats that are NOT caring and ethical people. I don't think that Bob Menendez, Catherine Pugh (former Baltimore mayor), Jack Johnson (former PG County Executive), Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and many others are unethical and/or uncaring Democrats.
While there are more Republicans that fit your description, there are no shortage of Democrats that also fit the bill. So, while good people have a moral high ground, neither of our political parties really do.
