Wish I could find pictures of the original eatery from the 80s. There was a pizza place (not sabarro) that made individual pizzas and a fish and chips stall (wrapped in newspaper) so good. I magnum, the children’s place, Bloomingdale’s and the cobblestone section with the sticker shop. I loved that mall.

I miss D&B a lot, but it was sometimes a sketchy place to go during the nighttime. Still really fun to go every once in a bit.

I liked the Lord and Taylor’s and the Bloomies much better than the other local branches of those stores.
There was a wonderful place that my Mom liked for jewelry repair and custom jewelry. I think it was called something like Dikomeys.

This was my favorite mall as a teen. My Mom would give me a time to meet her, and we’d go off in completely different directions, and meet up at a bench in the “Georgetown “ area to see if I needed more shopping time. I don’t remember the food court. I spent most of my time and most of my allowance in Borders.

I used to work at that Borders in the late 90s. So much fun working there. The mall was a happening place then. Everyone waiting for their tables at Cheesecake would come to Borders so I'd be in the middle of helping a customer and their table beeper would go off. Lol. I just loved that mall. The glass elevator made it seem so fancy and the long escalators in Borders. They were super fast too! I remember in college I got a dress at Cache thinking that place was so fancy and I used to love the Banana Republic there. It was a good one. The mall was always so decked out at Christmas and they'd play good Christmas music throughout. Good memories. We'll never those mall vibes back again. Malls today are just depressing.

This was me too! And my DD in college as well. Sometimes we’d walk into Pottery Barn Kids and play with toy kitchens after Borders and train ride. I think back on those days fondly and how they gave me something to do during the winter months when it was too cold to be outside.

Borders was wonderful!

Same here except I would enjoy taking the kids to Pottery Barn Kids then going over to Williams Sonoma.

Miss how all the nice stores were in one location. Now you have to go to many different shopping places.

Same! My kids loved the train. It was a rainy day activity for us.

Love the cobblestone area, food court with Jerry's, some of the stores, Cheesecake Factory and Bertucci's with the long wait times, movie theater, easy parking.

Discovery Zone. My husband and I were discussing this today.
