1. I am not impressed with the other candidates.
2. I would like to have some variation in opinions among the Board and Rives has been learning and is at least thoughtful about his positions and not afraid to offer a different view.

Technically perhaps, but it's misleading. He didn't enter or win the Dem caucus but is advertising like he did.

The majority of voters won't know whether he ran for the democratic endorsement or not. They just vote according to who has the endorsement and the ACDC will make sure voters know who those candidates are via making them feel awkward standing out front waving "sample ballots" as they enter.

I guess it did not if you didn't know the background. Weiss didn't run in the Dems caucus. Kathleen and Zuraya did and won, so they picked up the Dem endorsement.

Then Paul entered the race. Even though he skipped the Dem caucus and didn't even try for the endorsement, he's advertising himself as a Dem. I think that's misleading.
