This. Plus teaching children ethics. Why is this hard??
God some of you are major a$$holes.

This is a club's dream...an obedient customer who cares more about the team/players than the club does.

People who bring ethics into this are just the worst. My kids went from a small, NPL club to ECNL teams because they worked their a$$es off and achieved their goals. They are now playing well and working for the next goal. But there are still some parents from the old club that have called us traitors and post things on social media about them. And you know what the common thread is with those parents? Their kids aren't very good at soccer, and they have no chance of making an ECNL team. Sour grapes. But I bet they are keeping their resume updated and looking for a new job as we speak. Talk about ethics.

YOU ARE LITERALLY PAYING FOR THIS AND BEING USED.

The ethics nonsense has to be a coach or TD trolling. No way a parent with an IQ above 80 posts that lol

I'm not so sure. There are many parents who make this about them and their friend group at the club. I have had discussions with adults who were offended because my kids goal was to make the ECNL team across town (the club didn't have ECNL). Imagine being the loser that can't understand why a kid would want to move up. Well...they exist and the clubs love them.
