Well, DCUM is going to hate me for this, but at the top of the list is the dreaded:

Pasta Salad

I'm also making these today:

Yogurt Parfaits (plain skyr, frozen berries, hazelnuts)
Cheddar Chive Biscuits
Baked Apples w/ Cinnamon

Totally! Some stores have better meat, some a better bakery, some a better selection of international items. I used to hate when my parents did this - spent hours grocery shopping at multiple places when one store *could* have sufficed - but now I've turned into them

Yes! But for me it's based on what is on sale and which stores have a lower price. So I might go to Aldi for the bulk of my shopping trip, then swing by giant for something that is on a good sale.

My rough weekly plan:

- Chicken soup in slow cooker
- Turkey bolognese
- taco night
- baked chicken (very basic for the picky kid)
- one night with salmon or crab cakes early in the week (so seafood doesn’t go bad)
- mushroom lasagna for those who don’t love the chicken
- farro tomato dish from Smitten Kitchen

All these dishes are on regular rotation for us and we change it up 1-2 nights a week with something new

This weekend I will be mainly baking. I'll make multiple loaves of bread (I bake about every three weeks and freeze), homemade waffles for breakfast (apple cinnamon oat waffles), and crackers. I also plan to make some home made strawberry jam out of package of frozen strawberries that's been lingering in the freezer and isn't being used for anything else.

Do you have a particular recipe you like? I am trying to find a "healthy" muffin recipe that my picky DS will eat.

I make these: https://www.melskitchencafe.com/healthy-oats-and-applesauce-muffins/

I switch up what I put in for fruit but the kids really like it when I put in chocolate chips.

I have groceries being delivered this afternoon for a big weekend of cooking.

I need to make 2 kinds of empanadas for a charity cook-off (will make extras for quality control and dinner).

I'll bake a cake from the Southern Living list as well, and am planning to riff on a recipe idea I saw online - veal Antonio - for our dinner tonight.
