I would highly advise caution in sending any badmouthing cards or similar because my husband's best friend did briefly get back together with his ex wife after the divorce (such a bad idea, but you have to say nothing).

Imagine your kids hearing all about the blow out divorce party. Klassy. Maybe treat them to pictures of the divorce cake and pics of dad with a lampshade drunkenly on his head, hitting the griddy with his middle aged bozo buddies cheering him on? Mom wearing her custom made divorce tee and miniskirt and divorce princess crown. Mom doing jello shots and groping the young waiter who is smiling painfully while her fellow hags make incomprehensible noises that deafen anyone within 50 yards. The hardest of passes.
