I tend to think she is vain and unintelligent.

Lol and welcome to the poster who thinks they can tell who everyone is that's had Botox!

Seriously. Men are so funny. I’ve been doing Botox since I was 30 and you would think I am much too down-to-earth for all that if you met me.

Probably we would not think that if you’re describing yourself like this

I’m a mom at preschool pickup in leggings and a baseball cap most days. My purse is a backpack. Subtle Botox is popular and not something you notice, and not about being a certain type of woman.

I’d also probably like a facelift around age 55, DH is also against that. Oh well.

Just call it something else and get it done when you want it. I get Botox and fillers. I tell my husband I’m going for “skincare stuff” or “a dermatologist thing.” They don’t really pick up on that stuff unless it’s very very obvious.

BTW: If you still have plenty of breast tissue and are just deflated, you can get a lift. If you are left with flat, empty boobs like me, you’ll likely need implants. I have a small frame and I want the low profile ones.

55 is a great age for a face lift for many people. Before then, the issue is more about lost volume.

+1. To be fair a lot of injectors are pretty awful. I’ve been through my share of injectors who themselves looked like Muppets.

But my current injector is a godsend. She’s 40 and seriously could pass for 22. Nothing about her looks fake, she just looks young and fresh-faced. She doesn’t follow the trends of overfilling faces to make them look like completely different faces, she uses filler and neurotoxins to make people look like themselves but better.

Most men have no idea they just see bad plastic surgery. All of the every attractive celebrities, wealthy people and porn stars have had it and not just Botox

Ha!

I mean, look at the Queen’s of plastic surgery > The Kar/Jenners.
It is clearly obvious they all have had work done to alter their appearances & yet they still seem to attract a multitude of men.

I think this is true - they don’t actually but many will talk as though they are turned by unnatural changes. My favorite is the guys who slam makeup without realizing that all those natural beauties are wearing makeup.

30% of women don’t wear make-up. Another 30% only wear it sometimes. They have men who love them too and find them attractive. Many women who don’t wear make up are also beautiful. Perpetuating this idea that if you don’t wear make up you are hideous and no man will ever find you attractive isn’t true and helps no one.

According to you, 70% of women are women are wearing makeup at least some of the time. Not the anti makeup stat you think it is. Obviously you have some kind of chip on your shoulder, but I. am not saying one is hideous without makeup. I am saying many men are so clueless that they think they hate makeup while praising the looks of a fully made up woman.

Or maybe they actually find women without makeup attractive.

Most don’t. If you go somewhere with a lot of Gen Z employees you can immediately see the difference. Those without makeup don’t look good, those with the “no makeup makeup” look stunning, but unless you know what that makeup looks like, they look like they have no makeup/minimal makeup.

I was chatting with one the other day about her makeup and she said it takes her about an hour to do, even though it looks like all she has on is a bit of blush, mascara, and lip gloss. It’s more about the foundation, contouring, and highlighting to make their skin flawless and face look like a different face.

My husband really dislikes makeup. I mean, that works out fine for me, because I rarely wear it. On the rare occasion when I, like, lightly apply mascara and lipstick, he's like, "You know I think you look great without make-up!" And I'm like, yeah, but if I feel like a little mascara I'm going to go for it . . .

He regularly talks about women who have full make-up and how bad he thinks it looks. I don't know if he was chased by a clown as a child or what, but he just really really doesn't like any sort of makeup. He also really likes my perky, size A boobs.

The point is, different strokes for different folks. There's no way I am ever going to implant some unnecessary prosthesis in my chest just so I can be more uncomfortable sleeping and exercising, with the risk of rejection or infection and the need to replace it every decade. Even if I didn't like my boobs, which I do, that would just never be worth it to me. Thankfully I don't need to attract the attention of every man in the world . . . one will do just fine.

Men can tell when they’re looking at a rock-hard forehead and no smiling eyes or eyes brows.

My husband goes to Dallas for work and now can’t stop laughing in restaurants or shops or meetings.

Of course they can.

But what you don't know is that there are TONS of people with botox without rock hard foreheads who do have smiling eyes and brows. To think you know different is to be so arrogant as to look, well, stupid.

#Triggered

Are you always a weirdly defensive pill or just having a bad day.

Botox is Botox.

This makes no sense though. What makes you think you know who has Botox, or 100% of the time? That is like saying you can identify everyone who didn’t sleep well last night, or everyone with a sprained wrist.

Lol. What are you a beautician at a salon hawking Botox muscle relaxing in one’s face? And you think people can’t tell? Maybe if your clientele is 30 and under people won’t assume anything.

You ladies realize Botox is botulinum neurotoxin, right?
