It's not at all easy to reverse and even if successful, sometimes a man's immune system will attack the sperm and he is still impotent. Vasectomies should always be considered permanent. They make you sign papers indicating you understand that.Anonymous wrote:They are pretty easily reversed so I wonder if some of them guys are looking at it like long term birth control but not a permanent sterilization.

+1. I got my gf in college pregnant and she initially wanted to abort using plan B but then changed her mind. When she described to me the mental anguish she had to go through it really changed my mind regarding pregnancy. I thought it was just popping a pill like Tylenol and call.it the day but for a lot of women they have to go through serious mental issues. Honestly if men know this fact they will be more sympathetic and do their part such as getting a vasectomy and/or accepting that they have no say in a pregnancy. She ultimately lost the baby a few weeks into the pregnancy because she had a medical issue she was unaware off.
So guys get your vasectomy ONLY if you do not want a child. If you want a child don't do it
OMG - please educate yourself before you go spewing nonsense on the internet! Plan B does not cause abortion; it works by preventing ovulation, thus preventing sperm and egg from meeting.
He most likely meant to prevent pregnancy. In fairness most men are clueless about women's biology.
I think he must have meant the abortion pills, mifepristone and whatever the other is. If you’re taking Plan B, you’re not yet pregnant and might not even become pregnant, so why would his girlfriend be emotional? Plan B is a precaution in the event of failed birth control.

Women now make as much as men, so they are subject to the same laws that once benefited them. 50/50 is the norm. And you don't pay child support if she makes more than you.

This is not true. Gender is irrelevant.
I was in Divorce Court.
Everyone should have prenup. or a post nup if yuh forget and get married without out.
Everyone likes to give away their money to lawyers when they are angry and have conflict why?
I am also divorced. If you had a SAHM wife, that is on you. It is 50/50 based on income.

Hah, when I got my vasectomy I was in the prep area with 5 other men, all with grey hair and at least 10 years older than me. I asked my doc if they were all in for vasectomies. Turns out I was the only one in for that, and the rest were in for vasectomy reversals. I asked him why those are so popular. His answer: "Second marriage"
