We had previously tried waking up at midnight and limiting liquids but that never worked. We didn’t bother with the alarm.

My 7 year old night trained at 3 and my 5 year old wets about 3 nights a week. We use diapers with booster pad for the 5 and 9 year old. Without the booster pad my 9 year old will oversaturate the diaper and it will leak.
Have you looked into a medical reason? Kind of unusual that your 9 year old is having accidents so frequently.

We get him up at midnight and again at 5am and still wakes up wet. We have tried various ways- getting him up one time, not at all. Any advice or similar experiences?
Zero developmental concerns otherwise.
