I live on Hilton Head Island. 56 year old female. There are literally thousands of very active 50+ people here. Pickleball, tennis, golf, biking, kayaking, walking on the beach, etc. I play pickleball multiple times a week with 75 year old men. I lap swim every other day and the lanes are filled.

You are still young at 50 years old. If you have the means, I suggest taking a trip to a location like HHI. You will be inspired and, hopefully, motivated.

I have hypothyroid condition. Before I was diagnosed (30 years ago), I had become extremely sluggish, constantly tired and just felt off. Maybe ask your doctor to test your thyroid hormone level.

Good luck. It’s good that you are taking control of your health.

OP here, I defiantly like the thought of living someplace else with a more active lifestyle... I think many of those quality of life issues are impacted by our environment. Good idea on the thyroid level checked too. Right now, I've got a list: T level, Iron Level, Vit De Level and Thyroid level. Thanks!

Agree with this. Men can also have low iron as well as menopausal women.

Low iron is brutal.

OP here, good idea. Ordered some vegetable iron supplements. I'll request an iron check too.
