Of course, your school could always opt to host it on your football field. Just make sure you have a rain date or two.

Actually, December. Principals find out in mid-December and should tell the senior class then.

Strathmore's capacity is 1,976. DAR's is 3,702.

I have a kid who is graduating next year and I assume that his graduation will be at DAR (considering Whitman’s graduation was at DAR this year.), and he is dreaded about DAR based on the experiences that some of the previous seniors have gone through.


You kid sounds like a snowflake. DAR is a nice venue.

Not sure, but I believe a group of seniors tried to threaten the principal by spamming her e-mail and writing a bunch of notes around the school. I think it was really stupid.

TLDR; they had the graduation at UMBC

UMBC was a great location for my kid’s school!! Beautiful space, enough parking.. I will happily never go to DAR!
