Do you just hate the online learning days or all the tech in schools? I’m there with you that the online learning days are a total joke. But I also believe the 1:1 tech does a disservice to our learners- particularly the ones that would benefit from reading words on papers and more time spent with pencil in hand. And the window to control or manage how much screen time is spent closes at some point (def by end of 8th.) So if the critical classroom time spent reading and writing the old fashioned way - doesn’t happen when they are young- for some kids it could truly stunt their academic careers.

I just told the teacher we weren't going to do ES homework. She was fine with it.

Just don’t log in. It’s an unexcused absence.

Oh wow- I hope this is a joke. You might have taken a hot spot or access away from a kid who needs it because "you don't like virtual learning"

What a monster.

Not true. They might send home paperwork to see if you qualify for free internet.

OP, this is so dumb. Internet is a utility and the 20 min a day isn't going to do anything to your child. In fact, if you insist on putting them so far behind their peers in their ability to use the technology, you're doing them more harm than 20 min of online learning.

You obviously lied because you are using the internet now. Troll.

Everyone, OP? You think your school would believe that no one has internet?

If you are looking to change this, you are not being serious with this effort.
