So what? The nation murders innocent kids in wars too but they can’t murder an actual child murderer who stabbed six and seven year old girls to death?

The death penalty certainly holds merit in society for crimes like this one. Living a well balanced life in jail sleeping in a bed pain free for six to seven decades on the taxpayer dole is not what I’d call justice.
