September 10th was already negotiated.
There is no "both sides" here.
It was negotiated between the Biden and Trump campaigns, not the Harris campaign.
She needs to do her own work here and not just slide in on Joe’s coat tails.
Trump seems to be doing the work for her by making himself look too frightened to debate her.
Like try for a second to think about how a normal, non Trump-fan would perceive this. They had a debate scheduled, Biden dropped out of the race, and Trump wants to rearrange the format to one that is friendlier to him. Why? What could be wrong with the earlier format other than he feels he can’t win without some advantage?
I think many people recognize it for the strategic move it is. He agreed to the debate with Biden knowing all Biden’s challenges and foibles.
Now he is running against a different candidate and acting accordingly.
It’s all gamesmanship and is actually very sad for our country. I stand by my statement the two campaigns need to renogotiate behind closed doors.

How about the September 10 debate on ABC that both campaigns already agreed to?
Trump agreed to the debate with Biden on September 10. Biden pulled out. Trump never agreed to debate Harris in September 10. Unless you show the link to the agreement, you are a lier.

He’s chicken and needs his supports around him to feel safe.
And you call democrats snowflakes!
She will do her own work at the debate. Do you really think Biden and trump talked directly to negotiate the terms? Their teams did that, so no renegotiation is necessary.
If trump was not weird and power seeking he would have said ‘we need to revisit the terms of the debate’ and kept the time and location the same. Instead he is trying to baby out of it.
The Art of HIS Deal is not upholding contracts. It is why he is a felon- low integrity
What does he want to change about the terms that he could handle with Biden and can not manage against Harris?
He wants to talk over her (mics always on) and he wants to physically stalk her like he did Hillary.
He wants to use his waning physical strength as a man against a woman- duh
