First of all no hiring manager would use the word waaay. Second, there is no such thing as a hiring manager at banks -- no title like that and no function like that. Third, there is no chance that the people doing it have been there for 20 plus years. Not the way Wall Street works. So you appear to be a liar.

None of these school are targets. They are semi targets at best. Regional banks hire from these school with a few exceptions. NY banks have pockets of graduates from all of these schools. The graduates worked very hard to secure these spots with perfect grades. If you want Morgan, JPM and/or Goldman - youll need to be the next level up. None of these schools send grads there (other than a few exceptions).
This isn't true. Emory is a low target along with Berkeley, Williams, Amherst etc. Also there's plenty of Goldman Sachs workers from all of these schools, and I know IB students from Emory that had a 3.3-3.5.
Yes - it is true. As it says very clearly - there are exceptions. But it will take exceptional grades, grit and connections to burst through into New York Bulge Bracket banks. Sure they can work at regional banks but not the Tier 1 and Tier 2. Youre not beating top 10 and diversity candidates. It aint happening.

Rice is decent but doesn't compare.

Emory is 18 for wall street placement
Vandy 23
WashU 28.
Rice doesn't make the T30.
Emory is better than it seems as Atlanta has a lot of small investment shops with 20 or less people which don't get counted for this study.
College Transition? Is this site even trustworthy?
Agree. And if you do use this site at least post the correct rankings: Emory 22 Vandy 23 WashU 25. Pretty close to each other so just go where you think you’d be most happy
I gave the per capita ranking. Overall numbers don't matter. You need to see what you DCs chances of getting this type of
Job is.
There's also peakframeworks.com, which has Emory in the lead with this group of schools.
The data just really show that these four schools are below the Harvards and Whartons and that they are all quite similar in finance job placement. Seems to me it is much more important to pick the school where the kid would be most happy instead of basing choice on some little known website
https://www.peakframeworks.com/post/ib-target-schools
Here's another, both websites.are.well known within finance and investment banking communities. Of course theyre.lower than Harvard, which school isnt.OP is clearly trying to get into the best option they can with their stats.
Not sure I would trust these unknown websites. Seems like Anyone can make a list
You're spreading misinformation to invalidate a school you don't like. The methodology is on the page and Emory and is on par woth UVA for business.
