Why do we need to remove hair for bathing suit wear at all?

I am almost 50 and have never had one. Nobody but you says what to do and not do.

Wrong. I had it in my 20s. It grew back by 40

I go back once a year to keep on top of it. I wouldn't call it permanent but it's close.

Yeah. I did it when it first came out in 2001 so it was really expensive so I did not keep going. It lasted a fairly long time. My armpits never really grew back - but bush did—though less full

Oh I'm sure they're cleaner in mind and body than you are, weirdo.

And we weren't talking about showing pubic hair. Some of us don't need to do anything to it - it doesn't show in swimsuits, and we're fine with how we look in our private lives.

The “it doesn’t show in swimsuits” thing is BS. Maybe you mean you can shave the edges, but it was obvious, say in the 80s, that women had huge bushes – you could see a bulge in their swimsuits the size of a man’s genitals.
then.

It really depends on the person. For me the hair has never grown longer than about half to 3/4 of an inch max without trimming. An actual bush would be impossible. Maybe ten hairs outside of a standard bikini and its pretty blonde. Everyone is different.

Do you have that much of a bush?

+1. I understand that I'm probably in the minority. But anything more than trimming to keep things in place for swim season has never occurred to me as anything other than a sexual proclivity.

Didn’t Joan Rivers say you shouldn’t permanently remove all of your pubic hair because there comes a time when a little hair helps hide the droopy lips
